I think the author is trying to explain the injustice the animals are going through and it very well could be connected to people as well. When Old Major was giving his speech he explained how they all work so hard and produce so much and that they dont get rewarded but tiny scraps they can barely live off of. He explains about the work conditions and about how man wouldnt be able to live without their help. I also believe the author has a very good point about life and what not. Basically what he's trying to say is that if your being treated unfair and injust then you must fight for your equal freedom because nobody should be treated like a lesser being. My mental response to this chapter was probably the same as anybody elses. I say this because I agreed with the animals and I also believed the author had a very valid point about what to do when your being treated unfair.

ReplyDeleteI like what you said about us being treated equally. Old Major definitely had some good ideas. I think you'll like how the rest of the story develops.
